Are you Footscray’s first community independent?
Voices of the Inner West of Melbourne is inviting Expressions of Interest from people interested in standing as a community-endorsed independent candidate for the Footscray electorate at the Victorian state election in November.
Through a transparent, community-led process, we are seeking to identify and endorse a candidate who can represent the diverse communities of the Footscray electorate.
We believe our community deserves representation that listens first, acts with integrity and advocates strongly for the future of our region.
The electorate of Footscray covers Footscray, West Footscray, Maribyrnong, Kingsville, Seddon, Maidstone and part of Yarraville. See electorate map.
